Poem and Artwork: Lim Puay Hoon
The Water We Write
Sometimes it falls openly as rain,
One by one, in cisterns full, it is water.
In difficult times it is warm, it is salty,
It does not want to be seen,
Folded away in the raincoat of our heart.
